Welcome to the Grantham E Condominium Association, Inc., your friendly 55+ active community located in the heart of Century Village East (CVE) in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

At Grantham E, we are dedicated to creating a senior living community where quality of life and longevity are closely aligned. This site serves as a platform to facilitate communication among owners and residents, share pertinent information and enhance the overall community experience.

Here’s a fun fact: the name Grantham, like all the other districts in Century Village East, has Saxon origins. It’s named after an old town in Lincolnshire, east-central England. Grantham even appears in the Domesday Book from 1086, which lists 183 households. It officially received its royal charter in 1463.

The Grantham E Condominium Association Inc. was officially established on Wednesday, September 29th, 1976. On that very day, the developer Century Village East Inc. appointed three of their employees to be the first Directors of our brand-new Association.

Fast forward two and a half years to March 27, 1979—after an election among five owners, the Grantham E community chose three of them to be our very first official in-house Board of Directors. They were:

• Walter Leonard Schiffman, President, unit 271;
• Julius Antin, Vice-president, unit 165; and
• Elsie Moskowitz, Secretary & Treasurer, unit 258.
